Takeaway: There’s pros and cons to TikToks’ advertising platform. For starters, it’s a basic tool that gets your content in front of more people and maximizes your organic content, but you won’t get in-depth analytics from it, and your boosted posts will come with a “sponsored” tag, which may thwart viewers. In short, it’s a great tool to use, but should be supplemented with others for deeper insights, and it certainly isn’t a “set it and forget it” ad campaign platform.
