🗞 TL;DR - Are you sleeping on Pinterest ads? With 553 million users, it’s definitely an opportunity to take seriously. And it’s easy to start with the platform’s automated Performance+ campaigns which, like Meta’s Advantage+ campaigns, enables marketers to use AI to automate the entire ad process – and advertisers are seeing strong results.

💡 Insight - Here’s Pinterest’s own expert advice on how to maximize automated Performance+ ads:

  • Integrate both the Pinterest Conversions API and Pinterest Tag to ensure optimal signal matching & attribution, which feeds more data into the Performance+ system

  • Optimize your product feed with accurate and detailed metadata, keyword-optimized titles and descriptions, and complementary product groupings

  • Ensure your chosen objective matches your conversion volume to make sure the process is realistically aligned with your business direction and opportunities

  • Diversify ad types with at least 10 ads per Ad Group between Standard, Video, Carousel, Collections, and Idea ads

  • Layer different types of Performance+ elements to maximize your opportunities

  • Allow Performance+ to take time in its learning phase, which is generally two weeks and may require a higher budget to initially feed the system more data

  • Use the post-learning phase to experiment with different landing pages, ad formats, and Mobile Deep Linking setups to maximize results

💪 LinkedIn rolled out improvements to Campaign Manager. The new updates include a “Media Planner” element to forecast campaign results before launch, an easy option to duplicate ads, dynamic UTMs, dashboard & measurement insight updates, and an AI-driven Campaign Performance digest.
