🤝 TikTok is expanding its Marketing Partners Program (again). The new “Channel Sales Partner” element connects prospective TikTok advertisers to platform expertise that’s aligned with their specific business requirements.

🗞 TL;DR - Since social media was invented, brands have been wondering “how often should I post?” and with every era of algorithm changes, that answer changes. Buffer has the latest research on how often you should be posting on each social platform this year.

💡 Insight - Here’s the breakdown of how often you should be posting by platform:

  • Facebook: 1–2 posts/day

  • Instagram: 3–5 posts/week

  • TikTok: 2–5 posts/week

  • Twitter (now X): 3–4 posts/day

  • LinkedIn: 2–5 posts/week

  • Pinterest: 15–25 pins/day

  • YouTube: 1 video/week

  • YouTube Shorts: 1–3 videos/week

That said, these recommendations should be used for larger and major brands with capacity. Small businesses with tighter resources, time, and budget may not be able to achieve this ideal posting frequency, and that’s okay.

Fortunately and unfortunately, ideal posting frequency is only one piece of the puzzle. There are several other factors affecting social media growth including being on the right channels (where your target demo is), engaging with your audience (responding to comments & DMs), posting relevant, interactive content, and posting at the right time.
