🤖 AI TRAINING - Tumblr and Wordpress are apparently preparing to sell user data to Midjourney and OpenAI to train their AI tools. Could this be the future of user data?

Today’s Insight

📰 TL;DR - Apple is now charging a 30% service charge on the total payment amount of ads boosted on Instagram and Facebook iOS apps, a fee that Meta is passing along to the advertisers. But Meta wants to help you not pay that fee with their new guide.

💡 Insight - Avoid the fee entirely by boosting posts via desktop or mobile browser! Remember, the fee is only applied to ads boosted through the iOS apps, so if you don’t use those apps, you won’t get charged.

Add prepaid funds to your ad account on desktop or mobile browser. Using those funds inside the FB or IG iOS apps will not be subjected to additional fees. Like loading a gift card into your Starbucks app to pay.

Use Meta Business Suite to cut out service charges completely. Alternatively, use Ads Manager. Both of these tools will help you create ads and lean into Meta’s suite of more targeted tools.
