💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - Staring at a blank content calendar or cringing at your next video idea is a feeling that digital marketers know all too well. Thankfully, YouTube’s got our back with eight actionable strategies to help flex that creativity muscle.
💡 Insight - Here’s a few tactics to keep the momentum going when the ideas run dry:
The problem/solution power hour. Set a timer: 15 minutes listing all the problems your audience is facing, followed by 15 minutes brainstorming content that solves those problems.
Reinvent your greatest hits (and misses). Audit your content and see which videos performed the best. Flip them into sequels or dive deeper. Adversely, take a look at what flopped but had good bones, and revisit them with a fresh angle or format.
The “Opposite Day” Approach. Flip the script on traditional formats. Instead of “5 Productivity Tips,” try “5 Reasons Productivity Isn’t Everything (and Why That’s Okay).” It’s unexpected and refreshing.
Keyword Expedition. Take advantage of YouTube’s search bar auto-suggest and Google’s “People Also Ask.” That’s real-time intel on what your audience is searching for. Build content around those exact phrases.
