💡 Insight - According to the survey of over 1,000 B2B marketers, Product Marketing leads the pack with the highest average salary ($146K), but the biggest comp leap comes from a title change: Manager to Senior Manager = a 33.5% pay bump. California marketers top the charts (no surprise), though smaller teams at mid-sized companies are quietly keeping pace.
For those on the salary negotiation floor, cash bonuses, equity, remote work stipends, and paid leave are all on the table. If you're not getting these, it’s fair game to ask during comp reviews. And if you haven’t taken stock of your salary and benefits lately, now’s the time to get clarity and prepare to negotiate for what you’re worth.
The report shows job clarity, compensation, and career progression matter now more than ever. Even among the “greatly satisfied,” 25% of marketers say they might bounce in the next 6 months.
