🗞 TL;DR - Blog posts are a great SEO ranking tool, but they can be tough to create. Either you have to write it all yourself, or you have to spend budget on a writer… but AI can help. This guiding video from HubSpot can show you how to use AI tools to craft a blog post quickly and effectively.

💡 Insight - HubSpot’s video does utilize its own AI assistant built into its tools, but you can use it just the same with your AI tool of choice.

First, give your AI chatbot a prompt that starts with “Write a blog post about,” then fill in the blank. Add in an idea, phrase, or sentence or two about your blog post idea. It’s also helpful to add parameters like word count or any SEO terms you might want included. Think of this like training a writer.

Next, tweak the chatbot's output draft. Provide subheadings or paragraph headers to help guide the bot. Tell it what you don’t like about the draft so it can make tweaks and get you closer to your end goal. AI is best executed alongside human guidance, so make sure to be thorough with your review and edits.

Lastly, it’s your job to load into your site, add appropriate images, and publish. Make sure to do another read-through to catch any AI errors and ensure it sounds like a human. Add any meta tags to help your ranking, and format your headers correctly. While it’s not entirely automated (yet), this can save you a great deal of time while still gaining the benefits of published blog content.
