Today’s Insight

📰 TL;DR - The new year is coming very, very soon, which means many of you are probably starting to brainstorm your 2024 content strategy. Hootsuite made this easier by crafting a list of the 11 most important Instagram trends from 2023.

While trends change, these are a solid place to start building your strategy and learn how to make note of similar trends in the new year.

💡 Insight - Challenges will always be popular. From the early days of the ice bucket challenge (or more infamous cinnamon challenge) to the more recent “how high can you jump without bending your knees?” challenge, people love this content that’s purely lighthearted and fun.

Text posts are an easy way to create engaging content. Why limit yourself to only sharing the perfect photo when you’ve got text assets? Repurposing content from other social platforms can help you get the most value and help take the edge off of visual platforms like Instagram.

Replying to comments with Reels can provide multifaceted benefits. Not only do you get to provide customer service and engagement to the person commenting, but you also get an easy opportunity for new, unique content.
