🌟 Today’s Highlights:

  • Instagram’s CapCut dupe app is coming soon

  • YouTube adds AI-generated video hook ideas

  • Here’s how to determine why people should trust your brand

  • đź“Š Stat of the Day: A “good” conversion rate in 2025 can range by industry with medians from 3.8% in SaaS to 12.3% in Legal. (Source: Unbounce)

  • đź’ˇ Today’s Insight: What consumers expect from brands on social in 2025

🤔 What's Your Brand's Trust Factor?

Choosing between Coca-Cola and RC Cola, you automatically pick Coke. Why? It’s the brand you know best. This principle isn’t limited to sodas. It applies universally...whether for Geico vs. Erie Pennsylvania Car Insurance, Nike vs. On Running, or HubSpot vs. Ontraport.

Trust comes from familiarity. Ready to make your brand the first that people think of when they are finally ready to buy? Just use my '1 Simple Weekly Newsletter' strategy. Discover how to enhance your brand’s trust factor, step by step, on your own.

💡 Today’s Insight 💡

đź—ž TL;DR - Social media management platform Emplifi just released a new “Social Pulse” report using responses from 1,000 U.S. social media users on what they expect from brands on social – does your brand’s presence stack up?

đź’ˇ Insight - Emplifi’s report is broken down into major chunks of survey responses showing what we know from the results and what brands can do in response. Here are some of those top insights…

What we know: People buy from brands that engage. 58% of respondents said it’s important to see brands respond to customers on social.

What you can do: Act like a community member. Reply to followers and comment on posts where your brand is mentioned – even if it’s not on your page.

What we know: Real people drive conversions, not celebrities. 65% say UGC influences them, not celebrity endorsements.

What you can do: Feature your customers. Encourage and spotlight real reviews, photos, and videos to build trust.

What we know: Discounts drive sales. 6 out of 10 buy because of a deal, far beyond impressive visuals, relatability, or humor.

What you can do: Make promotions clear and consistent. Prioritize sharing deals and offers over chasing trends or memes.

⚡️ Today’s Headlines ⚡️

🎬 Instagram’s separate Edits app is coming soon (for free). The video-editing app, which is essentially IG’s own version of CapCut, was hyped up for a March release which obviously didn’t happen but is in beta testing now.
