💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - When used correctly, large language models like ChatGPT can be an excellent tool for working more efficiently. It’s especially helpful if you’re in the world of marketing that involves frequently reusing prompts, creating workflows, and managing projects from start to finish.

💡 Insight - Although it takes some effort on the front end to set everything up, creating your own custom ChatGPT will free up tons of time down the line. Here’s a condensed version of the in-depth guide that Orbit Media provided:

1.) Get set up in GPT’s builder space. In the top right-hand corner, click “+ Create”. Here, you’ll see two options: Create and Configure. Click Configure and follow the basic questions that GPT asks.

2.) Separate your prompts and instructions. Your prompts will likely be detailed and specific, and with an 8,000 character limit in the form’s instructions block, it’ll be difficult to squeeze everything into one box. This also lets you reuse both for other GPTs later. Once you’ve completed this, copy/paste the instructions into your GPT and upload the prompts document to the knowledge section.

3.) Test and debug. Once you’ve got your instructions and prompts in place, head over to preview mode and start a conversation with general input. Keep playing around with it and focusing on telling it what you want it to do until you’re satisfied with the output it’s giving you.

4.) Repeat prompts and instructions for the next steps. For a multi-step process, you’ll go back to the drawing board and repeat steps one, two, and three. Gradually, the prompt index will grow, and you might even find simpler, more effective prompts that work better for you.

5.) Clean it up, publish it, and share it with the world! Or just the people on your team, your choice. Upload your logo, decide on the final name for your GPT, and polish it up. Share it by changing the permissions to “anyone with the link,” and pass it on to your team, encouraging them to provide feedback.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️ Like TikTok, Instagram now lets you speed up reels. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This update is the latest feature that Instagram has borrowed in its ongoing quest to become a clone of TikTok.
