💡 Insight - Here are 5 LinkedIn ad tests to try out today:
Thought leader ads (TLAs) testing - Boost content from personal accounts to make a more human, appealing approach than content from a faceless generic corporate account. Bonus: Use TLAs to promote assets to get lead info (ex. “comment with X to request a copy”)
Conversation ads testing - Good for very small audiences and allows precise targeting of users in your ICP with tightly aligned, customized messaging. Plus, there are several elements to test including: CTAs, messaging angles and length, different senders, subject lines, etc.
Video ads testing - Video is huge for LinkedIn right now, which makes it a great time to try. It’s become prioritized by LinkedIn and has proven effective at the top of the funnel as a highly digestible, immersive format.
Carousel ads testing - While not as immersive as video, it’s an interactive element that’s got a nice blend of user engagement and a narrative-friendly format for advertisers. You can also test: highlighted produce or service features, data or insights-driven slides with stats, a problem/solution journey that leads with a pain point.
Offer testing - Align your offer accordingly with your audience and even try out low-friction CTAs like “learn more,” “see how,” and highly-specific offers like engaging with interactive features.
Keep in mind, LinkedIn ads are great for building engagement and awareness, not closing the deal. But approached with the right mentality, they can absolutely be a great option for bringing high-value users into your funnel.
