⚡️ Today’s Headlines ⚡️
🎥 Instagram experiments with picture-in-picture for Reels. Another day, another Instagram feature and this time it is picture-in-picture (PiP) playback for Reels, so users can keep videos running while scrolling or multitasking. This could significantly increase watch time, engagement, and distraction for those of us with ADHD.

📈 Yes, posting frequency actually drives LinkedIn growth. A new LinkedIn performance study shows that consistent posting frequency is the strongest driver of reach and engagement on the platform. Brands and creators who post multiple times per week see higher follower growth and more visibility in the feed.
💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - Most entrepreneurs and marketers are treating YouTube like a place for ads, polished promos, or just a platform where they chase viral trends that creators are hopping on. But the platform thrives on consistency, storytelling, and community-building. Growth on YouTube comes from playing the long game, not pushing one-off sales messages.
💡 Insight - YouTube is not a digital billboard. Don’t expect quick wins if you are not pouring into mastering the creative ideation process, building a fanbase, tailoring your format and messaging to the platform. Clickbait-y title and thumbnails are not a longterm strategy. Think about them being your first interaction to build credibility.
I know you’ve heard this before but there are no shortcuts to growth - success on a platform comes from posting regular, valuable content that addresses your audience’s pain points, builds trust, and can be turned into an evergreen content pillar. This is how you will tap into YouTube’s recommendation engine. The algorithm rewards consistency and watch time, not sporadic, self-promotional uploads.
YouTube's AI simply predicts human behavior based on how real people interact with your content. When viewers click your videos, the algorithm notices whether they watch it completely and where they drop off and recommends more accordingly. It's pattern recognition, so consistency is the only key to ‘beat the algorithm’. And the secret sauce? Understanding your audience deeply so you can give them what they want - entertainment, education, or both.
Takeaway - Stop chasing virality, start building consistency. Treat YouTube as a long-term content channel, like making a TV show where you need to have new episodes every day or week. Develop an editorial calendar, prioritize value over polish, and post consistently to train both your audience and the algorithm. Brands that stick with it build authority, organic reach, and durable customer trust over time.
